With modified polyethylene glycol 20M as the stationary liquid, hydrogen flame atomization detector, internal standard method is used for quantitative analysis of isooctanoic acid. The experimental results show that the method is accurate and reliable, the relative weight correction factor of isooctanoic acid is 1.305, and the relative error is less than 2.0%. At the same time, the comparison with the chemical method shows that the internal standard method is better for the determination of synthetic solution, while the normalization method with correction factor is better for the determination of refined products.
