Mission Statement
The International Society for Stem Cell Research is an independent, nonprofit organization established to promote and foster the exchange and dissemination of information and ideas relating to stem cells, to encourage the general field of research involving stem cells and to promote professional and public education in all areas of stem cell research and application.
ISSCR membership is open to those who have manifested a continuous interest in any discipline important to stem cell research as evidenced by work in the field, original contributions and attendance at meetings concerning stem cell research. By completing the ISSCR application for membership, you are confirming that you are willing to abide by the professional standards espoused in the Guidelines documents for the conduct of human embryonic stem cell research and clinical translation.
The ISSCR Annual Meeting has become the preeminent international stem cell meeting of the foremost stem cell professionals from public, private, academic and government settings. It provides a forum to promote and foster the exchange of research, featuring leading discoveries of the year and serving as a catalyst for inspired stem cell research around the world.
