Description: Human Recombinant Transforming Growth Factor-β1 (TGFβ1) produced in E. Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 112 amino acids fused with a 1.4kDa amino-terminal hexahistidine tag.
Source: Escherichia Coli.
Purity: Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin Level : Endotoxin level is less than 0.1 ng per μg (1EU/μg) as determined by the LAL method.

Formulation & Storage: TGFβ1 was lyophilized from sterile 10 mM sodium phosphate (pH7.4) and we recommend that the powder be reconstituted in sterile 10 mW-cm H2O. Upon reconstitution, TGFβ1 should be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage at -20°C, it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided.
