实验室如何有效的防止超顺磁性纳米材料的团聚

纳米粒子的聚集是热力学自发过程。任何微粒之间都有相互吸引以减小表面积的趋势,而它的逆过程是熵值减小的,必须在外界给予足够能量的情况下才能发生。如果是在聚集后加入保护剂,而没有其他给予能量的因素的话,仅仅在理论上就无法实现。再说到金纳米粒子,单质组成的纳米结构在团聚之后 团聚结构内部粒子相互接触的部分必定会发生原子的重排,随着时间的增加会有足够多的原子键形成,最后成为体相结构。

纳米材料的团聚包括软团聚和硬团聚,硬团聚是有氢键,软团聚没有。软团聚主要是由于颗粒间的范德华力和库仑力所致,该团聚可以通过一些化学的作用或施加机械能的方式来消除。粉末的硬团聚体内除了颗粒之间的范德华力和库仑力外,还存在化学键作用。颗粒表面会吸附电荷形成双电层,颗粒间就存在静电斥力,这个斥力会与范德华力平衡,使胶粒稳定不团聚。

能量的角度而言,纳米粒子是不稳定的,趋向于形成聚集体,所以必须给它吸附带电荷的离子,让它通过相互排斥稳定存在于溶液中,不至于沉淀。团聚-再分散,取决于稳定剂与纳米粒子的作用,如果稳定剂的稳定作用是基于静电相互作用,比如柠檬酸钠,那么如果团聚了,是不可能再重新分散了,如果稳定剂的稳定作用有强烈的空间位阻效应,如聚合物,或者稳定剂与纳米粒子有强烈的作用,如硫醇与金,那么重新分散还是可行的。磁性纳米颗粒可以通过表面包覆SiO2PVPPEG等聚合物,使其形成核壳结构,不容易团聚。纳米金则通过柠檬酸修饰,使纳米粒子表面有带负电荷的柠檬酸根离子,颗粒之间的静电斥力使纳米金粒子稳定不团聚。
