Onkovidon green活细胞膜染色试剂盒里有四瓶冻干荧光膜染料，每瓶里的荧光复合物足够制备30ml 30nM染色溶液，4度避光保存，如果保存妥当可达6个月。
Onkovidon?green是一种细胞渗透性脂质染料，在400-490nm范围之间可散发出绿色荧光，最佳的激发光谱在460nm，比如可用氩离子激光器在488nm峰值处激发。在水溶液中Onkovidon? green的最亮的荧光峰值在510nm。染料结合脂质细胞结构，比如膜，溶酶体，线粒体或脂肪体。
用Onkovidon?green染色在脂质结构与环境之间形成强烈反差和高空间分辨率。染料配方能用于几乎所有的活细胞或固定的细胞和组织的脂质结构。
Onkovidon?green也可以结合其他的染料使用，例如Hoechst 33342 (Invitrogen), LysoTracker? Red DND-99 (Invitrogen), MitoTracker? Orange CMTMRos (Invitrogen), BODIPY? 558/568 C12 (Invitrogen).
