Arginine Vasopressin ELISA
Arginine vasopressin (AVP) is a small peptide hormone found in most mammals that stimulates water re-absorption in the kidneys and the constriction of capillaries and arterioles elevating blood pressure. Plasma AVP levels are elevated in patients with congestive heart failure.
We offer a competitive ELISA kit for the quantification of AVP in plasma and serum samples. This ELISA kit employs an acetylcholine esterase (AChE) based tracer, which is highly stable, has a broad pH range (5-10) and is not inhibited by common buffer salts or preservatives. In addition AChE requires no stop reagent and can be redeveloped in case of spillage.
Benefits of this Arginine Vasopressin ELISA
? Suitable for use with plasma and serum across broad pH range
? AchE tracer can be redeveloped in case of spillage & requires no stop reagent
? No interference experienced with common buffer salts and preservatives
? Versatile flexible strip well plate format
