TheDUET-3 is a veryhigh throughput fully automated imaging system which includes a 50 slide automated loader, integrated barcode reader, and sophisticated software for automatically scanning and sorting hematopoietic cells, amniocytes, cells from voided urine samples, sperm cells, metaphases and tissues under fluorescent illumination by Fluorescence in-situ Hybridization(FISH) technique. The DUET-3 accomplishes fast and accurate spot counting and identification of chromosomal aberrations such as translocations, inversions and deletions. With the addition of an optional bright-light illumination module the DUET-3 can also classify cells according to their morphology or immuno-histochemical (IHC) staining.
