DM 45 Spectrofluorimeter
The latest addition to the Olis product line is the DM 45 Spectrofluorimetry System. A quality research scanning spectrofluorimeter, the DM 45 includes two OLIS single grating monochromators for scanning excitation and/or emission wavelengths during the course of a fluorescence experiment.
For excitation source a 75 watt xenon arc lamp is housed in a reflective housing for highest excitation illumination, with high precision regulated power supply for highly reliable lamp starting, ultra low ripple, and high precision current regulation. Emission detection is achieved with a fast response, high sensitivity photon counting module with OLIS amplifier and electronics. Scan rates to 200 nm per second are supported; software controls speed of scanning and amount of signal averaging to be done during fixed wavelength and scanning measurements.
The GlobalWorks＆#8482; software package is the same as is provided in the (higher priced) OLIS RSM 1000F, with facilities for 2D and 3D data presentation and analysis, including peak finder, spectral deconvolution, difference spectra, and the exclusive Olis Robust Global Fitting algorithms for kinetic and equilibrium analysis. Data storage/retrieval, including power import/export capabilities, are provided for dealing with OLIS and non-OLIS acquired data. Accessories for the DM 45 include Olis' Automatic Titration Accessory, Four Position Cell Holders, Automatic Enzyme Assay Device, or Stopped-Flow.
