EN 15373:2007specifies requirements for the safety,strength and durability of all types of non-domestic seating for adults weighing up to 110kg.These requirments include:

a)          Free from sharp edges and/or burrs

b)          Information for use

c)          No creation of shear and squeeze points

d)          Ends of hollow components shall be closed closed or capped

e)          Stability – the seating shall not overturn under the specified conditions.

f)          No unintentional roll of the unloaded seating.

g)    NStrength and durability tests with reference to EN 1728:2000
