Description：
Enterokinase is a highly specific sereine protease. This product Recombinant Enterokinase(rEK) is supplied as the catalytic light chain of bovine enterokinase. rEK is a slouble 28KDa subunit consisting 235 amino acid residues. The specific recognition sequence for rER is:Asp-Asp-Asp-Asp-Lys。
Unit Befinition
One unit of rEK is the amount of enzyme required to digest 50ug of fusion protein ro 90% completion in 16 hours at 25℃
Procedure
rEK Reaction Buffer：50 mM Tris-HCl’’ pH 8.0’’ 2.0 mM CaCl2’’ and 1% Tween 20
Target Fusion Protein：1-1.5 mg/ml
rEK： 20U/mg Target fusion protein
Temperatur：25℃，16hr
Purity：≥95% (SDS-PAGE)
Formulation and Stability
rEK in 20mM Tris-HCl; 200mM NaCl’’ 2mM CaCl2’’ and 50% glycerol should be stored at -20℃. It
