Ingredients: 0.1% gelatin, 5mM Vernal, 145mM NaCl, 0.025% NaN3, 10mM EDTA, pH7.3
The application of GVBE is usually used as a buffer added at the end of the assay to prevent complement activation and dilute the reaction to a level that can be read by spectrophotometry. It is also used to establish a control experiment where complement activation should not occur.
(GVBE) (glucose Flora buffer with EDTA) The pH buffer shows a significant difference from the normal value, and the instrument needs to be calibrated using a standard buffer solution according to the instrument instructions. The calibration method is as follows:
1) Connect the composite electrode after preheating the instrument:
2) Turn the selector switch to the PH position:
3) Adjust the temperature compensation knob white line to align with the solution temperature value (room temperature):
4) Turn the slope adjustment knob all the way clockwise:
5) Insert the cleaned electrode into a standard pH buffer solution:
6) Adjust the positioning knob to match the instrument reading with the pH value of the buffer solution at the current temperature. After each measurement, the electrode must be washed with distilled water and the water on the surface of the electrode must be sucked dry with wiping paper. After normal calibration, there will be no abnormalities in the data when measuring the pH value of the standard buffer solution in reverse.
明胶弗洛拿缓冲液(Gelatin Veronal Buffer, GVB)和弗洛拿缓冲的生理盐水(Veronal Buffered Saline, VBS)是补体研究的必备缓冲液, 弗洛拿缓冲的生理盐水(VBS)和明胶弗洛拿缓冲液(GVB)相比缺少明胶组分。

应用 GVBE通常用作在测定结束时添加的缓冲液,以阻止补体活化并将反应稀释到可分光光度法读取的水平。它也用于建立不应发生补体活化的对照试验。

1)仪器预热后接上复合电极:

3)调节温度补赏旋钮白线对准溶液温度值(室温):
4)斜率调节旋钮顺时针旋到底:
5)把清洗过的擦净的电极插入标准PH缓冲溶液中:
6)调节定位旋钮使仪器读数与该缓冲溶液当时温度下的PH值一致。每一次测定后都必须用蒸馏水将电极洗净,用擦镜纸将电极表面的水吸干。经过正常标定后,再反过来测标准缓冲溶液的PH值时,数据不会出现异常。
